Very sorry for your loss.
Recent pictures have been tube feeding her once a day still has some swelling how can I tell if swallowing issues she holds her head to the left but moves it all
Around but perched back as you can see she does drink and try’s to eat soupy mash

Sorry didn’t realize I added the same

Could be from the swelling and soreness but if she is able to move her head all around that sounds like a good sign.
Your talking about she puts her head on her back to sleep? that is normal.
I believe I would be tube feeding at least 3X a day or at least 2x if 3 is hindering if you work. Unless she is actually eating.

do you lock your ducks up at night for their safety?

You do know minks swim along with many other predators if they know food is available to them? like ducks on a pond.
We have not seen any others the pond is small and the mink was in a drain pipe. I had a trapper come and check the pond for burrows in the sides and did not find anything. The trail
Cam has not shown any other predators and the ducks have been in and out of their duck house

Miss Lydia I have a question I got a higher protein food to give the duck I have been tubing and allowing her to eat on her own her poop today was foamy and strong smelling is this normal? Because of the higher starter food
