duck behavior, bobbing heads?

My two females (a buff, who does the most head bobbing, and a Cayuga) always bob their head up and down since like 2 weeks old. They seem to do it a lot when they are happy and excited, like when I come bring them food or fill up their pool or let them out, or when they see I have treats (sometimes just when they see me coming to see them and I have no treats) they very often do it and start talkin to each other. It's so cute.

I believe Scovy Mama had a Muscovy girl who used to dance to music with head-bobbing. 

They do bob heads to indicate attraction, but I suspect some of them just enjoy music.

Maybe it's a bird thing (although I can't see chickens doing it) but the parrots I grew up with and my parents macaw will do that to music, they really go to town. lol

Haha oh bless, my other duck doesn't doesn't do it but Quackers does every time I turn music on lol

My 2 female Pekin take turns attempting to force themselves on the other, mostly when my male rouen is not around. He mostly only mounts Freya,so it usually seems that Freya is taking that out on the other female (Odin). But my drake also gets in bad frustrated modds where he will attempt for what seems like forever to mount my large watering can as well... strange strange duckies... they're ask 3 a year and a half old wroth no signs that it's going to stop. Also Odin does not lay, is best friends with and tactically hints with the Drake. I call "him" my tranny duck, or auntie Odin when taking to Barnaby (the offspring of freya and Mr quackers).

My two Pekins do the head bob to, right before they look like they're mating,.....however, they both take turns. WTHeck..! They are both 15-16 wks old with no drake feathers to speak of, both are very loud but 1 definately does the quaking. The other does a sort of low pitch whine. So, if they both both bob their heads, while the other one flattens out on the water surface before the other one gets on top.....does that mean we have bi-curious duckys or are they just confused. One of them, the one I always thought was a drake named Doodle looks like he actually knows what he's doing including biting the back of Quakys head. Looks like he's going to drown poor Quaky.:/

hmm... I have 4 ducks, 3 girls and 1 boy. They bob their head a lot too, and when they are in their kiddie pool, one girl (Quacky a crested) gets down on the water and all three of the others (even the other girls!) try to like bite her?? I know it's supposed to be like flirting/mating but since the two other girls do it too I'm not sure... and the male (Donut, half pekin half Rouen) is like punching his beak into Quacky's neck.
