Duck bites: playful or aggressive?

I see you've gotten good advice above, so I don't really have anything to add except to say playful or aggressive, does it matter? It's not behavior you should be encouraging. Similar to people who let their puppies nip them. It's cute at first because the puppy is small and the bites don't hurt that much, but if it's not rectified and encouraged, that dog ends up in a shelter or put down.

All of the ducks love to nibble clothes and the palms of our hands. It feels like a tickle, if anything, but it's exactly like how they groom themselves and each other. This was the first ever actual bite, which we will 100% discourage in the future.

I would really discourage this nipping on you, your clothes and your hair. Might be cute now but as you have already found it, they can cause quite a bruise. They are only 4 months old now, so the biting will get harder as they get older. I also think you don't want Storm, or any of the others, to think they can dominate you. They bite ... you leave ... they win. I would stick with the patting. Many ducks don't like to be picked up. As soon as they show agressive behaviour, push them away and ignore them.
I have a large Muscovy drake who started the same way as yours. One day he chased me, and snapped at my leg leaving a large bruise. It took a few times on pinning him to the ground to re-establish that I am top duck.

My duck that I.raised in my house after his mom died was the sweetest thing ever. He was the only one that never ran from me.. Now every time he sees me he chases me and constantly bites me hard. I started picking him up and holding him which only makes him even more aggressive. What happened to my sweet Duck Duck?

Your duck grew up, and has hormones. If he imprinted on you, he likely believes he can mate with you. Which can result in aggression.
I suggest handling less, if he runs at you, block him using a broom or a pool noodle- no hitting or kicking or anything like that- just block if you need to. Don't allow any biting, don't try and pet him

It's very possible that his hormones will settle eventually and he will calm down. It is possible that you can have a good relationship with him again, but its important that you understand that these animals have instincts and urges, and even if they love us, they can and will follow those instincts. He isn't doing it to hurt you. Time will tell whether or not he will calm down

What is their housing situation, do you have other ducks, and if so how many males/females?

Duck Duck is in a cage with 2 females. I have another cage with 1 male 2 females. I have 2 white Peking males in a cage. Last I have 3 Call Ducks 1 female 2 males. I know we have 2 many males, we just recently rehomed 6 Drakes.

A cage? What size, and how old is he?
