Duck Bonding

My sister and I just got two new call ducklings. I was woondering if there were any way to make them like being handled more?

I am just discovering how much ducks like defrosted frozen peas. It is like crack for them!

They forget how scared they should be of humans when faced with the prospect of pea-guzzling from your hand!

Frozen peas work well. They never seem to tire of them......

I found they like tomatoes too! When I pick the ones that are too ripe the ducks and chickens get them. Hold a tomato in your hand and let the ducks go to town. Hold on tight though.

they can get it right out of your hands.

My husband got my duck to like him by holding a defrosted corn on the cob for her to eat and stroking her as she ate.
