I have two ducks and a drake and lately have noticed that when I pick up my drake, whenever he runs back to the girls, one of them bows her head to him and he'll sort of walk around them. If anyone knows what's going on let me know. I've heard of head bobbing but never head bowing and I've only seen her do it after he goes back to them. They were born beginning of July, so I thought maybe they would start laying soon, sort of like when a chicken squats? I attached a video below.
 
One thing iam sure your aware of is the poof on their heads are a fatty layer protecting a section of open skull (missing bone) and drakes can cause damage from being over working

Yes I've heard I'm going to be keeping an eye on them.
