Cheers!

Nope these are Sliver Appleyards. They came from a breeder who only breed appleyards and cayuga's. I found them and they were coming to show their birds at a poultry show near by. I called them and asked if they can bring me some babies and they did. Appleyards are a heavy weight bird. These boys are huge. I do have some welsh also...but they are much smaller. Also Welsh do not get the sliver in their heads.

Obviously Google isn't necessarily 100% accurate but on the Google images, a lot do look like yours chickens really but some also DO have blue, it's just as pronounced. Maybe it's not as common but I think it does happen.

But either way, if the breeder only has SA's then they can't possibly be Welshes...

Sorry if it came across that way, I wasn't trying to argue either! I was just trying to be helpful or see both sides or whatever, idk, i like hate confrontation so i kinda play both sides, it's bad haha but yeah, theirs does look like a Welsh, you're right about that, but they only had SA I think. Unless a welsh snuck in. Or Maybe the quality wasnt that great?

Either way, they're all beautiful haha
