That stinks....I live in terrible hot! Wish there was an in between!!!!

Winter stinks! I make my girls. Go outside all day in the summer. I hate being stuck in the hiuse in the winter. You can go out but not really enjoy it. Takes a hour to get me amd my two little girls ready and then do it all for a half hour outside lol

And the dog houses still work for breeding that's awesome to hear!! What month do you put your duvks in the breeding pens?

Mine live in the pens at all times. Never together except when free ranging after breeding season. One Drake to each group of Hens.

Yes, by the time I had my two little boys ready it was almost time to come back inside

In winter I wrap vapour barrier plastic around my Runs for my Ducks. Tarps on the tops all year around too.

I was going to wrap tarp this year around the run. My chicken never come out. So this year I was going to do the top and two sides.

I use vapour barrier plastic because it keeps the runs bright and blocks out all weather. Plus if the sun shines on it, it acts like a greenhouse and warms up the Run..
