Duck brooder

I've currently got 7 runner ducklings (5 days old) living in a kid's sandpit and they're having a whale of a time. I've built a large duck enclosure in the garden for them for when they get older but they're growing quick and I've quickly come to realise that the sandpit isn't going to last them long! What do other people use for an indoor brooder for them when they get bigger?

This is my set up.
They are 7 weeks old - so much bigger now, but it has worked great. Today they will be moving to the run and duck house.

Hi and

I used a big kiddie pool and pine shavings. My husband took a very large wood crate and took it apart then reassemble to make a large box. This worked great for 8 weeks I had them in the garage.

Meanwhile I have mine in a bathtub...

I was so very unprepared and not educated, but we are making it work...lol
