Duck changing colors?

Well voice sexing may be harder on this one. It was attacked by an opossum awhile back and seemed to have lost its voice for awhile. Everyone here at BYC helped me keep it alive when I was in a panick.
I wouldn't say it's impossible for it to be female, especially if it is a mixed breed. Stranger things have happened. But the color it is turning points to male. . wait and see if it lays an egg

I thought it was a drake. I've read that the drake feather is not always prominent in cayuga, so I would imagine that if indeed it is mallard and cayuga the saga might continue for a bit before you know 100%. That being said ,the color says Male to me
