Duck chatter, what are they saying?

I think tail wagging means I'm in a good mood. It can also mean, I'm sorry, please forgive me.

I think some head bobbing can mean, hello, I really like you a lot! I saw a duckling doing that pretty good while walking with his mom. Also, it can mean, hey, I think you're cute, want to be my mate?

There's a sideways head bobbing that females do with males that's different, though.

I thought the tail wiggling was an invitation to a male. At least, it seems that way with our hens. I think they are saying, "Hey, Big Boy, I'm available!"

The head bobbing thing has me baffled. Sometimes it sounds like she is trying to be tough and scare me away, other times it seems like she is bobbing AND wagging her tail!

It's entertaining at least!
