Duck coop ideas

We spent so much time building a coop for our ducks...and they don't use it. They love being outside. Sooo, we're removing the coop from their run and building them a lean-to. Just something so they can get out of the nasty weather and wind this winter.

I say leave your duck with the chickens until you have at least one more duck.

We've had ducks and geese for quite a few years. The only time they use the shelter DH built for them is to lay eggs. They use the shelter in really bad weather sometimes. I've caught them lounging around, NEXT TO the shelter, when it was -15 below zero! They are way more hardy than I first anticipated!

Don't waste your time, or money, on anything more than some type of lean-to shelter.
