Duck diapers ?

I have a quick Q and just thought that I should do it on here. So someone gave me a duck diaper and I really want to use it but I have a Q about it. Will the duck I start to train with it become more distant or become more bonded. I feel that if I take him away from his girls he will be upset and hate me for it but then I feel that the more I am with him(the more treats he gets) he will realize I won't hurt him. I also know ducks that tend to get some access to free ranging are always more distant. Mine free range 1-2 hours a day and will eat out of my hand and I don't want that to change. What are you guys thoughts. I hope I am aloud to ask this Q on here....Thanks!

He’s not gonna be happy when you put it on that’s for sure. My girl is imprinted on me and strictly in the house so that kind of bond is different than your guy living outside with his girls. Is there a reason you want him in a diaper?

I’d definitely start in a small area where you can easily catch him if he doesn’t come back to you. My girl will run around a bit but come running back because she knows I’ll take it off.

I have always wanted to have a duck come in for a diaper but he might not be the right duck to do it on. I am hopefully getting some more ducklings this spring and feel that starting out with one of them young is the best route to go. My ducks are not imprinted on me(sadly). I think them being with each other for 2 days made them realize ducks where ducks and humans where humans. I am hoping one of my new ducks will maybe be more bonded with me. Thanks for the advise!
