Not sure what’s going on but we’ve lost 5 ducks in the last 30 days. The first four ones we had introduced to our flock a week before. I lost 3 in one weekend once I realized something was up within 12-24 hours they would die. I thought a possible mold infection cause my bf accidental our hay in their run not know it can harbor mold so I got it all cleaned out and put some pine shavings In all seemed good so I found two duck to add about 3 weeks ago, gave them a few days to quarantine and adapt before putting in flock, they fit right in, kept them in run but due to the heat we just had we started letting them free range and they were fine. We did loose another one but we figured that it was due to heat exhaustion, we just lost our new khaki tonight same thing was fine this morning then tonight was acting weird once I realized it and brought him inside he died. We have a mowed yard for them to free range, no change in food or bedding, they get fresh water at least 2 times a day depending on weather, they have a water drinking specific bowl and two pools to swim in. Idk what to do we have no one around here that really does necropsy. My bf had ducks about 5 years ago at the same house and yard and never had this issue before idk what else to do.

Regarding the first four new ones, how long were they quarantined before introduced to your new flock and have you contacted who you purchased them from to see if they have had any disease outbreaks or deaths?

This first four were my original flock I had from ducklings and I got two males a week or so after they died

What's the water situation look like? I hear botchulism bacteria can take out ducks extremely quickly, within 24-48 hours.
We change water twice a day and we use two pools and a regular feeder bucket for drinking water
