Duck egg bump?

Can you really tell when theyre getting ready to lay? Is there really a bump?

I noticed today my Cayuga has a bump on one side... it looks odd but its about the size of an egg.

Don't know how to help ya...I don't have cayugas....One day there were no eggs and one day I had one...that's about all I know about duck onset of lay!!! Hope someone can help ya!
