It’s day 32 today, we’ve seen movement and all the signs of proper growth along the way. The only thing that has happened. Few times is the humidity is lower than desired in the morning and I get it back up, despite that, the egg was progressing just fine and perfect according to all I see online.
When I turned the humidity up and took the steps for the final 3 days, I couldn’t see it moving anymore and thought it had maybe died but I read that the baby is taking up most of the space so you may not be able to see it moving. I have candled it and I see the air sac and I can see little bits of fur in the egg around the edges but mostly it’s dark. Once I saw the beak at the edge of the egg potentially trying to break through but now I don’t. I do see a shadow within the air sac when I candle it.
It is possible it’s just taking a really long time? Thank you

Did you calibrate/check your thermometer? If the temperature was on the low side, it may have extended the incubation perior.
