Hey all!
I have two eggs in my incubator that are on lockdown.

They were professing beautifully and moving around like crazy each time I candled them.

Before lockdown,3 days ago, I candled and saw no movement. There was a very dark mass and a very distinct line to the air sac which was completely empty. Nothing moved at all.

Is this normal? I see no signs of piping and it is day 28.

Can I take it out of the incubate and check for internal piping or will that ruin process if any progress has been made?

You can take them out and candle if you want to check, it won't hurt anything. Just make sure you get the humidity back up in the incubator after.

What temperature and humidity do you have the incubator at? Is it a still air or forced air incubator?

38C 60%. It’s a still air homemade

38 is half a degree low for a still air, so that might be why you're not seeing any action yet. With the temperature being low, they may hatch late.

I'd also get the humidity up to at least 70% if you can.

Okay thank you. Will turn up now and candle tonight. Any tips on what to look for? Just any movement?
