I have a duck egg that has been in the incubator for now 32 days. Checked it today, and the duckling is still moving inside the egg. There is no pip - not even internally. I know it's been that long because I mark all of my eggs the day I put them in. What do I do??

What kind of duck egg is it? Muscovies naturally incubate for 35 days, and some individuals will go a day or two over that. So if you've got scovies, you're right on track!

Hmmm. Beats me, then. But if it's still moving, I'd say it still has a chance. Did you have other eggs in the batch? Did they hatch already? Any chance your incubator temps were too low--sometimes that will slow the hatch down. Could you have marked it wrong by accident (I know I would do that for sure, lol)? Very weird--sorry I'm not much help!

I did have other eggs in the same batch, and they hatched out - even my silkie duck hatched, and they've really been giving me a hard time

Yeah, I'll just let him go and hope for the best

Thank you for the help! I appreciate anything I can get

Nope... Our entire yard is fenced, I have no muscovy ducks, and neither does anybody in the area. I'm totally baffled. Once he didn't hatch and the others did, I figured that was that.
