hi,
I am hatching eggs for the first time ever and they're duck eggs I just wanted to know if anyone has a day by day process of what they do?

incubator. i mean like: today i set 11 eggs and i am trying to keep humidity at 55%. 10 days later candled, 3 are dead. (kinda like that)
Dead or clear? I recently candled 18 duck eggs being incubated and five were dead.
The good news is that the weak are the ones that die in the first week or so. Assuming no accidents happen, those that candled alive and well make it to hatch. Your loses are within normal range. Good luck.

started new duck eggs couple of days ago. day 6 clear. are they dead?
Couple days ago? ...day 6...? What kind of duck? A mallard derived breed should have slight veining by day 6. However, depending what is be used to candle and the size of the egg, the veining may not be easy to see. Wait a couple days-Post a side view candling picture.
