Congrats that's so exciting, they won't all hatch at same time, I have two, one blue Swedish he is three months, just found out he male, one crested believe female she two months, got them 3 day old each, love them

Ok so we now have a second baby pipping...but this time it's pipping below the air cell....will it be ok?

So you have 2 , how many eggs do you have?

Had. I started out with 14 eggs. Shipped eggs... and I have a very old LG style incubator. It has issues with temperature spikes and the like. I have to babysit it very closely. This was my 2nd time hatching.

Last night, sometime in the middle of the night, the little egg that was pipping, must have suffocated, for it was dead in the egg this morning. So..... nobody hatched. I'm sad, but I'm going to build an incubator with the help of the tutorials on this website, and try again next spring.

Defame ,so sorry to hear that, Dannli, how did you make out with your baby's , I have never tried to hatch, but if I end up with male and female, I don't know what I'll do, 2 Ducks is enough for my yard lol I'm now researching how too keep drinking water from freezing when they are put away for the night I want to be prepared any ideas?

So sorry to hear that DKfarms...hatching really is a heartwarming but at the same time heartbreaking thing.
Crazy Lady 2...we have 3 happy healthy ducklings out of 4 eggs...the 4th never pipped but was still alive and wiggling few hours before i candled so i feel really bad that i didn't intervene as it was day 30.
