Duck Eggs Due the 25th

I have 7 eggs that are peeping and breaking there shell, and 4 the are rolling all over.
Well see baby's later today, well get pics on soon as there are dry and fluffy

In the last few days, I've have 8 hatch. I admit I put them in "because I have to run the incubator for the ducks anyway" and I wanted some early hatching entertainment. If I felt comfy putting button quail eggs in with ducks I would have done that too for a half time show.

8 became 14.

But there are two I'm watching. One hatched late and seems to be having problems and another seems disoriented for some reason. He has his eyes closed and I'm wondering if some one pecked him.

Two of the EE pullets I ordered from Ideal jumped down into their brooder and have been warming the younger chicks. It's really cool to see a newly feathered chick with her wings around 5 to 7 littler ones.

I got 14 babys from Satuday to Sunday.

Had to help one EE out of the shell, the babys is doing great

Well, the temperatures in my incubators crashed like you wouldn't believe last night/this morning. I'm hoping it was only this morning after the cat pried the front door open. I'm trying to bring them up, but I don't have a lot of hope.

Oooo! I missed your pictures earlier! Congratulations!

I wound up losing the two chicks, so, I'm back to an even dozen. No more hatchlings today. I might get some tomorrow, but I have extremely good news.

First off, I got the incubators to stabilize again. I may have lost six chicks or may not. We'll have to see about that. But...

Either there is some varmint trying to get into the cabinet under my incubator or...I have a duck thinking about joining this world. I heard a little tapping tonight and some squeaky sounds coming from the duck incubator.

Hopefully the temp didn't fall to far and it just slowed down the growth, for a day.

put a trap around your incubator, see if something gets in the trap.

I have 5 duck eggs left and sadly the one is the double yolker, so i dont know if this baby or baby's will make it.

I've heard of double yolk eggs hatching right here on BYC, so maybe your double yolk ducklings will too.

I have 2 pips on the 6 chicken eggs I had given up hope on. 2 little OEGBs.
