Duck eggs pipped but not hatching! HELP!!!

:lau Aww sh*t- I think I’m all stocked up over here!!!
Actually- a “GOOD FRIEND” of mine was asking about roaches the other day.. Now- are they mail order too? Maybe I could send a “surprise” “thinking of you” gift!!! Let her know how much “I love her”, ya know?!!! :gig
I breed roaches if you want some of those 😂😂😂
Those moving emojis CRACK ME UP!!!!! I love this one :gighahaha!!!!

I managed to peel the membrane from that ones shell and trim off excess membrane, I do my assists in stages, do a little bit, stop and let them rest & warm back up, repeat until finished... I got 3 out and about in the brooder now! Phew! 2 left in the incubator, prognosis is pending.... we'll see their condition in the morning.

I am 100% never incubating duck eggs again, EVER!!! They will either be hatched by broody duck or hen, not me! I'll stick with chicken & quail, they're a piece of cake!

These three are so cute! Amazing how they're all different!

I like duck eggs. I've only had them scrambled but the flavor is good & the yolk bigger than a chickens imo. Some people don't care for duck eggs, I hear it's a texture thing. I haven't eaten them fried so I don't know what they mean for sure.
We use ours for just about everything, including fried. The only thing I've been told to look out for is to avoid a diet heavy in fish as it transfer to the egg flavor. I can't say for sure if that's true, but our duck eggs are really great.
The humidity for duck eggs needs to be at 55-60% and at 75-80% when you go into lock down, remember they are water fowl and need lots of moisture
^I second this. My first hatch ever was duck eggs and came with instructions on misting every day and cooling for the last week. I hatched 100% of those babies. This time (I've got pips and am waiting today), I had them in with chicken eggs and was lax on taking them out to mist and cool, they're late and the one that did hatch last week got stuck in her membrane and had to be assisted. I feel that the humidity and misting made the difference as everything else was the same.

Cool, every week- what do you mean by this? I mist mine daily with 100’ F temperature water- I feel that they cool when I do the misting so I count that as the “daily cooling” period. But what do you mean about cooling the week before? Any information is great! Thank you in advance for your response!

Every day, not every week. :) These are the instructions I used for 100% hatch, in case they are helpful to you. I regret not sticking with them this time. Even so, the last one finished hatching on day 30 or 31. Crazy stuff how long they take. Good luck with your upcoming hatch!

Day 1-3: humidity at 43-47% ideally, but not more than 50%.
Temperature: 99.3-99.6F

Day 2: start misting once daily with 100F distilled water

Day 4: Humidity 45-55%

Day 5 and 10: Candle

Day 15-25: leave lid open or off the incubator for 15 minutes a day, mist the eggs then put the lid back on. (Mimics broody mom going for a swim and coming back wet)

Day 25: Candle

Dsy 26: lockdown. Decrease temps to 98.6, humidity 67-74% and the waiting begins.

Perfect! I’ve done exactly as you described! Thank you! (When I mist my “fake” bator- I hold the lid opened a little for the temp to decrease by 10’F) I have a lot of extra “space” in my bator so it then takes a little while to heat back up. So I feel I’m on track!
