We'll you would have to be quick because if it open to long the duckling may get shrink wrapped but as it hasn't yet pipped through the egg a quick glimpse should be fine :)

I have four cats and they are ever so sweet

I have 2 cats, 2 ducks ( which is how I got the eggs), 2 parakeets, and hopfully all 7 of lucky's eggs will hatch, 2 are about to hatch, and the others have a few more weeks to go. I hate when people think that cats are mean, don't you? mine have never bit, scratched, or hissed at me, they are also snuggly, and playful

you can cause humidity to drop if you open the bator and can cause your ducklings to shrink wrap inside the egg, so leave the door closed and just wait ducklings take their sweet time in coming out nothing like chicks who just pop out. yes 24-36 hrs sometimes. So be patient and PM Lacrystol or casportpony both can give you good advise on hatching duck eggs in a bator.
