I have a Cayuga Blue Swedish cross who laid 13 eggs and then began to set on them. The same day that she started setting my dumb dog managed to somehow eat all of them. The next day my duck started laying eggs all over again. I finally took 21 eggs from her nest to incubate. I didn't know that this was possible. Isn't 33 eggs in 33 days a lot of eggs for a duck of her breed. I'm not sure how many more eggs she laid because I sold her. So far 20 of 21 eggs are growing in the bator.

Wow. I think I would have been inclined to sell the eggs, and not the bird. But with that many eggs developing, you probably have a pretty good chance of getting another female with her characteristics. A good layer, and a good mama. Hope you get an awesome hatch!
