I’d try making a donut out of a towel and place the ducking down in head out of course to see if that doesn’t keep it from freaking out. See how the little one is doing in the morning. Just keep an eye it doesn’t get its head stuck down in the towel

Thank you very much. I honestly thought we may need to put it down but I did some reading and saw a post that you actually commented on. The neck was much worse and it was okay. I went ahead and held him for a bit, but placed him in the brooder. The other ducklings seem to be surrounding him and making him feel calm. It’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. I think I’m going to just give him some vitamins and see what happens. Would rather not have to put him down. Aw thank you very much for sharing. I’ve been doing some reading and I saw some other ducklings have had crooked necks and turned out to be okay. I am going to give vitamins and take care of him.Oh no.I have one that was born deformed, missing an eye and a crooked beak. I gave it a day once in brooder to see if it ate and drank and although his vision is impaired and he has a bad day once in a blue moon, he is a healthy 6 month old now. Something like that though could be causing pain unless it’s just kinked... I’ve read about neck kinks and pulls/strains in older ducks. I think they recommend a warm compress and massage but it might be that it just developed that way therefore it could be painful to mess with it...
oh good. They are resilient little things so vitamins and making sure it’s got plenty of niacin will hopefully straighten it out.Aw thank you very much for sharing. I didn't know electrolytes have niacin in them... oops! I’ve never used them. Will be for this shipment of ducklings come April. I’m already stressing and they haven’t even hatched yetThat's what I think too @jaykayhuff . The electrolytes should have plenty of niacin for him for now.
