Well, they're different from chicks. The mother would lead them to water even if there was one that had to hurry up and hatch because it would otherwise get left behind. It may only be an hour or 2 old when it gets to the water. The mom would just preen it a lttke do dry it off and put oils on it and then in they go. I've seen that with woodies before. Those babies drink and eat. So I think especially since this one is stressed and possibly has someyhing wrong with it it could benefit from a boost. I've taken just dry couple hour old hatchlings to the brooder and seen them eat and drink before with the other ones. As long as it's not forced to drink it's fine. Since this one has been stuck for a while it may be dried out and dehydrated, and it may have used most of its yolk already too. Just my opinion. I think it would help
