Duck eggs soon to hatch?

Typically they can go up to 48 hours without @Miss Lydia but maybe since there is an issue a little early push of electrolytes won't hurt? Also if you do do this make sure the water is room temperature at least! You don’t want to shock it's body anymore at this point. @Laurenfinn6

you Want her to try and give the duckling water with electrolytes now ? I always heard to let them rest at least their first 24 hrs first since they are living off the yolk. My duckling were 24 hrs old before they were up on their legs and found the water. Just asking.
Well, they're different from chicks. The mother would lead them to water even if there was one that had to hurry up and hatch because it would otherwise get left behind. It may only be an hour or 2 old when it gets to the water. The mom would just preen it a lttke do dry it off and put oils on it and then in they go. I've seen that with woodies before. Those babies drink and eat. So I think especially since this one is stressed and possibly has someyhing wrong with it it could benefit from a boost. I've taken just dry couple hour old hatchlings to the brooder and seen them eat and drink before with the other ones. As long as it's not forced to drink it's fine. Since this one has been stuck for a while it may be dried out and dehydrated, and it may have used most of its yolk already too. Just my opinion. I think it would help

What are your thoughts on poly-vi-sol?

my Mama ducks don’t take their ducklings anywhere when they first hatch. She sits tight for a couple days then takes them to food an water.
I've seen this only in wild ducks. I saw it in the park once, and I saw it in a nature show
