i have duck eggs In the incubator and they are on day 27 but still have not seen an internal pip or a noise. Why is that?

What date did you set them? What has your temperature been? Is your incubator still air or forced air?
I put them in on the 18 th of September. The temp has been on 38 degrees cause my incubator doesn't go down and I think it's air forced because I add in water and there is a fan.

So yep, today, the 15th, would be your 27th day. Have you verified the temperature with a separate thermometer to make sure the built in display is accurate?

I really wouldn't worry too much since they're not actually late yet.

I haven't checked with a thermometer but I saw other people's eggs have done their internal pip at day 25. Why is mine like that?

Also they say that on day 28 if they still haven't put their beach through the air sack then you make a little hole in it.

Because your temperature might be too low; that's why I asked if you had double checked it. A low temperature will cause a late hatch.

No, you should never put a hole in the internal membrane. You could hit a blood vessel and cause the duckling to bleed to death. You'll just need to be patient, especially not knowing whether or not the temperature has actually been correct.
