Duck eggs

The dark eggs that have a gray tint to them look like Cayuga eggs. As they tend to be the only breed that lays coal gray to light gray eggs.
Yep. The dark ones are Cayuga. However they will eventually stop having that dark color the more they lay. Mine are nearly white now.
 
If you have a Drake the only real way is to incubate for at least 5 days and see if any veins show up. Or crack open some eggs and look for a bullseye on the yolk.

We bought an incubator and we placed some eggs in there on Monday so I guess I should just wait? Can we add new eggs in there daily?
 
You can buy things get a little crazy trying to manage eggs put in daily. Your best bet is to save them in a carton pointed side down for a week or until you have as many as you are looking to hatch and put them in at the same time

Should I leave them out at room temperature of my house or should I put them in the fridge?
 
Can anyone tell me what could be wrong with this egg? The she’ll was really soft.
