I've been getting these eggs in the morning that can only be laid by the ducks overnight because they are the only ones in that area, the chickens are all locked in their coop. They are decent size but not huge, but also the yolks inside aren't dark orange like everyone says they should be for ducks, they are more yellow like my chickens eggs. All three of my female ducks seem to be laying. Is this just because they are just starting out, things start out different then change into giant, orange yolked eggs after awhile? It's been a few weeks since I've been getting eggs from them all, steady. They are different in texture and color on the outside but how come mine aren't different on the inside is really my question here :) thanks!
