Brand, brand new to ducks. How many eggs can a duck lay in one day?...also. will a runner mate with a cayuga?

usually only one. and yes a Runner will mate with a Cayuga and just about anything else that wears feathers.

No chicken experience here, but I've read yes, ducks can and will try, they can injure chickens trying. Best to keep separate, in my mind.
