so I was out late and when I came home to feed the ducks I noticed they shredded there little house they had spreading foam everywhere. After collecting as much as I could I was hoping none of them ate any. If so what should I do! Please help

Hoping that they are doing well this morning! If it makes you feel any better, I found out far too late that foam insulation is like crack to ducks (and chickens apparently, from what I’ve heard). I had some exposed that I did not know about that my ducks found and went to town on before I stopped them and covered that area up. They had no ill effects. Another time, some styrofoam (from I don’t know where) blew into their area and got devoured immediately. They pooped out little white styrofoam balls for a day, but were once again fine. Hopefully, your ducks will be ok! Definitely keep us updated!

Ducks and chickens and dogs and cats all eat things they shouldn't. Most of the time they are just fine, though a bit uncomfortable for a day or two. Fortunately foam is not sharp like metal or glass and will not puncture anything internally. I would hope it all passes right through without incident. Just keep an eye on them for any behavior changes that might indicate they are not ok.

:goodpost: just add fish, horses, rats, ferrets and bunnies to that list! I've had them all digest either chocolate, floor cleaner (they licked the mopped floor, not drank a lot of it!) or toys... Animals get into everything just because that's what they would do in the wild! I've never had a problem with it (luckily) but I've been scared to death every time!
