Duck eye closed?

my new baby duck (about 12 hours old) is keeping one eye closed. He'll open it every now and then, but then he closes it, and it stays that way. Help?

we've had a few ducks almost die, but luckily they lived!

there are only 3 eggs left to hatch, and they are about 2 days past the hatch date. Do you know if they're still alive? I candled them...no movement.
