One of my WH females appears to have a problem with her third eyelid. I noticed because she has been shaking her head frequently. At first, it look like I was just seeing her eyesocket, but as I have observed for a few days, sometimes the problem appears less severe and I can see her eye normally. It's difficult to get a good picture because she always faces me with her good eye. It appears that the extra eyelid she has for when she's underwater is getting stuck or swollen. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Mine did this around the time she got an upper respiratory infection. You can try vertericyn eye gel or something of that sort. Could be that the eye got irritated. Does she have any other symptoms?

You can also add a small amount of Apple Cider Vinegar(unfiltered, "with the mother") to their water source. It's helpful for when she dunks her head in and basically flushes that eye.
