Duck feed

You don't need a specific duck food - they are too expensive anyway. Chick Starter/Grower, Chick Grower/Finisher, & Layer crumble for chickens works fine, preferably Purina or Poulin brand, if you can get it. And again, add niacin/ brewers yeast. You would save a lot buying your feed in 25 or 50 lb bags, and it stays fresh for about 3 weeks after purchase. You can locate Tractor Supply Co. stores near you on their website, or order online from them and have the feed shipped to you
How much of the niacin do I add. Will to much niacin hurt chickens. I've never used it before. Your reply has been the most helpful.

Where can I buy naicin? The chick feed I got is sold by the pound so I have so I have no idea what the nutrition facts are.
I've settled on "Now Brand" brewers yeast to add niacin. However, my question for the more experienced Duckers; Is 18 or 19% protein too high for adult layers (i.e. Khaki Campbells)?
I thought I would use the Purina Duck Pellets after 20 weeks, but it's 19% protein.
