Hey there!

I’ve come upon a wild duckling that was lost in the middle of a busy road, mother nowhere to be seen.. I plan on keeping this baby but was wondering if there’s anything I can feed it (fruits, grains, veggies, etc.) as a main course from the baby age and how it changes as he grows.. Thank you all so much!

Welcome to BYC!
It would be best if you called wildlife rescue and surrendered the duckling to them because they will have the proper feed and probably have other ducklings so it won't get lonely.

If you can't surrender it, then you need to buy some duckling food from Tractor Supply or another feed store. Can you post a picture of it so we can tell you what species it is?

Note that it is illegal to keep wild ducklings, so keep that in mind:

I'm not the wild duck police, lol, and I have been known to have wild ducks too. Just wanted you to know about the law. :D

Anyway, if you do decide to keep it it will be happiest if you get it a buddy. :D
