Don't look for duck food specifically, instead give them something like "meat bird crumbles" when they are young, with some sort of niacin supplement. Later they can live on chicken feed, especially if it is well supplemented with table scraps and/or mealworms.

I used the duck starter in those 5lb bags for the first few weeks. Then I switched to chicken feed. I like to use all flock when it's affordable on sale too. I cannot see paying 30% more all the time.
Peas are a good source of niacin. We certainly don't incorporate them into the diet as often as others on here, but we do give peas as a treat from time to time. Once they are 8 weeks old or so the niacin is less important I think, but still something we try top make sure they get some of.

I use Purina flock raiser as it has the formulation to meet most duck needs.

Giant Pekin may still need added niacin.

I'm also under the impression that TSC may be starting to offer a 50# duck feed... check their website.

Here I get Duck, chicken, goose and turkey starter. Then a Grower feed. 50lbs bag at feed lot.

Where are you for starters? If you are within a tractor supply store you can do what @Runner duck mom and I did and pitch a fit. They will get the big bags in for you.

Yes, we were in TS yesterday and they finally had a whole pallet full of the duck pellets.
Before that we fed flock raiser I believe but our store only had crumbles. They like the pellets much more.
