Ok, so I am worried about my ducks foot.
(Back story: just rescued her from an abandonment situation. Never owned birds of any kind before)
I randomly googled duck feet because our new little joy has the cutest little splat splat sounds of her feet and now I see posts about bumble feet.
she has black pads on her heels. One has a bumb and the other looks more like dry chapped dirty heels.
we have no additional animals so if it’s infections, she can’t spread it.
I tried to take pictures, but I struggled because I was by myself.
she isn’t acting like she is in pain and she isn’t favoring one or both at all.
please take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think.

:welcome Sure looks like bumble on both heels if you can get better pics with light on her feet that will help but from what I can see it’s does look like one is swollen too. If you start soaking her feet in warm Epsom salt water having her stand in a bucket to soak is best because you don’t want her drinking the water since ES is also a laxative. Soak every day and apply some kind of antibiotic ointment on after it may take a week or more of soaking before you can try working those scabs off. But take your time and make sure the scab come off without tearing good skin. Once you get the scab off the bumble will be thick yellowish and it may come out when you pull the scab off or you might have to take a pair of sterile tweezers And dig it out then you pack in antibiotic ointment and wrap her foot keep it dry till healed. So sweet of you to rescue her ❤
