I was doing some research, correct me if I am mistaken, but crossing a khaki drake with a mallard duck gives male mallards and female chocolate mallards? Does anyone have experience or knowledge of this cross? Would you be able to tell the chicks apart at hatch? Thanks.

Well the babies wouldnt be pure mallard so you couldnt sell them as pure mallard until youve spent decades makeing it only pure mallard dna with the coloring of the brown
