duck got stuck in fence has swollen eye and cheek

My 7 month old white and black duck got stuck in a roll of fencing. I am not sure how long she was there. DH and I were away for a few days and kids were watching barn. ChickenDuck (CD for short) was stuck with only her head sticking out. I unrolled her and her right side of her head looked all swollen and her eye was barely open. This morning her eye is closed and looks a little runny.
I used some water to rinse off her eye and face but want to know if there is something medicinal that I can use. She drank lots of water yesterday and I think she is starting to eat. she cannot see out of the swollen eye. I have her in a separate cage so she can mend...all her chicken friends are sitting around the cage with her....
what else can I do for her???

Just keep an eye on her. She may have something stuck in her eye. Can you open it and flush with warm water?
Other than that she is probably just stressed and dehydrated from being stuck for however long she was.
You can add V&E to her water to help give her a boost.

Poor baby.

the whole right side of her face looks swollen. I think that was the side that was down while she was stuck. I will try to flush it but it is all puffy and I cant' see her eye ball. thanks....she is up but seems so out of sorts.....what is V & E ????

ok I have some of that! You mix it in water....I will give her some...thanks again....
