Duck growth and food

Thank you everyone for your valuable opinions. I already give niacin sometime. Should I add niacin with the water always? Today I have brought corn and a soya chunk. I am trying with corn today first, let see how it goes.
Mix some of the current food it is eating with the food you want it to eat. If it has more of a mixture, it will be more likely to try some of the new food. And then you can wean it off the rice.

Just dawned on me. It would not be a permanent thing, but scrambled eggs, especially duck eggs, are great for ducks. The yolk is the essentially the food they eat during development to grow. It is jam packed with nutrients and will have the protein the duck needs. Eggs will be great for the duck as it recovers.
