I think she's too young to lay. Don't ducks start laying at 5-6 months?

She's out and about foraging, and very energetic, so I think she's ok for now. I will keep an eye on her.

Not sure... some sites say they can lay as early as 4 months, but older is probably the norm. How old is she? I don't remember you mentioning her age.

Yes, she's 10 weeks old. She was a happy camper today, so it might have been something that got stuck in her throat that got unstuck?

My earliest Runner layer started at 16 weeks, 4 days. Generally the smaller the breed, the earlier they start to lay.
