Nope. I had one that pipped internally but never broke shell, the rest didn't even make it that far. None of the local eggs developed at all.

Well don't let that discourage you!!!! Hatching is too much fun

I just bought 6 chicks to keep him company. And I have. 30 more eggs in the incubator. I can already feel the chicken math setting in.

These are two of the chicks I brought home today. They were labeled "red pullet" so I'm assuming they're some sort of sex linked breed.

Here's a group photo. Two of the other four are GLW, and the other two are barred rocks. I really can't tell them apart though.

My hen is broody on 3 chicken eggs Time will tell if this works, Thsi is the first time she's been broody.
