Hey guys just seen this thread has been a little dead. Finally got my game farm license. Went and picked up TWENTY Anconas from 2 different bloodlines today.

I have blues, chocolates, a buff, lavenders, possible silvers, and blacks. So excited.

Out of the 14 from CA (eggs) exactly 7 are growing and due to hatch next Wednesday. Hoping for more blues!!!

My call ducks started laying, so I have 14 eggs from them in my bator.

Also won two auctions for a dozen plus call duck hatching eggs off eBay. They should get here this week.

Oh and I bought a bigger incubator. LOL.

Meet Twitch, the lone survivor of my first hatch. He loves being held and will sit still and be as sweet as can be, but put him in the brooder and he runs around and peeps non stop. I need to get him a friend next week when TSC starts their chick days here.

Yeah the only egg that made it was the blue Indian runner egg that she sent me. I really hope little twitch turns out to be a she so I can have more pretty blue eggs.

What happened with the others? They didn't hatch?

Nope. I had one that pipped internally but never broke shell, the rest didn't even make it that far. None of the local eggs developed at all.
