Never had this happen and I've been hatching for 2 years, lol.
This time its a duck and I have no idea. He looks weak and the yolk sack is just hanging out. What I did though was wrapped it up somewhat tight in a wet papertowel and stuck it back into the bator to rest in the corner, hes been like that for a couple hours now.. I notice his body is "contracting" a bit which I assume *HOPEFULLY* his yolk sac goes back in.
But if it doesn't... what do I do... I really would love to save this duck. Out of 9 eggs, him and another are the only ones that hatched.
Please help, thanks! Any suggestions? I know I can't cut it off.. but will it dry up eventually? Thanks.
