Duck hatchling question

Was busy yesterday! I checked on the nest and I heard the PEEPING INSIDE AN EGG! When she turned the eggs I could see the little one trying to hatch.
She pushed the egg out so I got it and wrapped it in a warm dampened towel and it was about 94 outside so I sat out with it for about 3 hours while it hatched...AMAZING!!!!
Once it was dry I took it to mommy and she checked it out and accepted the duckling! It was so interesting how she moved the eggs in a circle and left a space in the middle for me to put the duckling and then she sat on the nest and everything was just fine. Later in the evening I saw the little one laying beside mommy!
WHAT A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE FOR ME!!!!!
Now we have 2

Wow that's awesome. Congrats!!!

Woke up this morning and there is one more! That makes 3 and she has a few more eggs, not sure when they will hatch though but this is so exciting. I found I can check on the eggs by slowly moving a rake towards her and she backs off the nest...not very happy about it though.
All 3 are eating and drinking already but they just love their cuddle time with mommy

Update on egg that did not hatch 4 days ago:

Well we kept a close eye on the egg and candled every day to watch for any bad signs. So, last night the air sac got real awkward shaped and bigger. I could not tell if it was internally pipped. I left it for the night and thought in the morning it should be internally pipped. I waited until the afternoon to candle. When I did it looked like it was trying to break through internally. I waited until this evening and decided to open a tiny hole to look inside, I mean it is already 4 days pretty much five since the last egg hatched and still nothing, that cannot be right. I looked in and sure enough the poor thing is shrink wrapped!

I opened the shell a bit more and used a pair of tweezer where the duckling was trying to pip through and moved the two layers of membrane away from the beak. I placed it back in with its siblings and they pecked all the membrane away that they could get to. The baby looks big, and the beak is huge and it barely has any of its egg tooth left. The membrane still has some veins, but not many. I cannot see a yolk, but it is still in the shell.

I plan to leave it this way throughout the night, should I leave it alone tomorrow too?

Thanks, we hate to lose this baby, she has already been abandoned. Which is her name, abandon! We hope she will soon abandon her shell and join us :)

At this point I'd help till she is able to pop out on her own, just be careful of blood vessels and the yolk sac making sure to leave the duckling in part of the shell but enough off that it can get out, also I would put the egg inside a bowl with some paper towels under it to keep the rest of the ducklings from pecking the yolk sac from rupturing.

We now have 3! And all are just adorable. The little one that I helped hatch gets close to me and I try to snatch it up at least a few times a day to hold it and talk to it. I would LOVE to have at least one little fearless duck

The grandkids were so excited about seeing the little hole in the last egg to hatch on Wednesday so Thursday morning we went out to see the new duckling! We haven't named the last one but the first one born is Stormy because of it being born during the bad storms we had here on Monday and the second one they named Bumble Bee because of it's color. I'm going to post some pics when I get back from the store. Need more peas! Even the little ones are eating the peas! I put some in for mommy and they are all over them!
Mommy is still on some eggs but I have got to get her out of the kennel because it REALLY needs raked out! ( this is going to be an adventure all in itself!) Does anyone have a suit of armor I can borrow? LOL

Thank you for the advice. After the ducklings ate the showing membrane, we put a divider in protecting the baby. Since then, I have peeled away a good portion of the shell this evening and the duckling started to wiggle more. We left for the evening and returned late to find the duckling gaining more strength since the head came out. The little thing is picking its head up while it is still attached to the egg. I have these microwaveable egg holders and I removed the top and put a moist paper towel inside the bottom and set the egg inside, after which I reattached two of the three middle and top pieces. Now the duckling is in the egg holder with its head sticking out. Hopefully, the baby will finish absorbing without the yolk drying up overnight. Cross our fingers again!
Thanks once more.
