Duck head-dipping behavior

Hey everyone my Welsh harlequin is almost 4 months old and does a funny thing... She dips her head low when she's walking sometimes (not constantly) as if she's ready to attack something that isn't there . She doesn't go after anything she just dips her head to the side over amd over while she's walking forward. It's not head bobbing like in mating it's different. I can't upload a video, I can only describe it. Any ideas?

Is she making a sound as she does it?....I believe its a friendly gesture....Mine do it all the time...Like submitting to higher ranked Birds...

Sounds like what mine does. Our Blue Swedish gets excited and lets out two quick quacks then tucks her head back and usually to the left and repeats. It's almost like the Egyptian dance, she does it over and over. Mine seem to do this when she gets excited- especially if she hasn't seen us for awhile and we get close to her. I'll try to get a video and upload it!

Sounds like my Runners they do this and it's usually at their drake.
