Thanks for moving to the proper section. We will have a filter/pump system set up at some point. It has been sitting on the shelf in our garage for about a year. We will have some plants in the pond as well to help with algae and such. I recently read about placing a bucket with holes in it at the bottom of the pond that is easily accessible to pull up and empty to aid in the removal of poop. Will be working out any and all ways to easily clean if possible.

Ducks will eat the plants in no time flat.
In pond filters are not sufficient to handle duck poop, there's just too much of it.
Best bet is a trash pump you can stick in there and empty pond once a week,
or a bottom drain in pond if there's nearby lower land to drain it to.
