Well, in my little flock, Chrissy will not squat for Jack, but she will squat for Lana, another female. So what usually happens is Chrissy squats for Lana, Lana hops on, Jack pushes off Lana and takes over.

The female was most likly showing dominance over the other female, nothing to worry about

Good afternoon....I have a simple question. How do you stop the mating of female ducks with female ducks. We have some heavier females and they are hurting the slimmer/slender hens? I worry and then when they are weakened the other hens pick on her. Infact a couple weeks ago they broke eggs inside of my runner

She is laying again but.....Do I need to get rid of the aggressive hens? I removed the pool where it seemed to happen more often and almost drowning her; it continues still but not as often. Your advice is appreciated. Thank you ♥
