So, after realizing I couldn't dig the pool in the ground I thought it'd be best to have it raised off the ground and cut a hole in the bottom for the pool, and just put wood on the sides with a ramp for the ducks.
 
Questions:
What do ya'll do to keep the wood from rotting?
How can you be sure that predators don't get to them to the eggs?
Do you put a skylight at the top for more sunlight?

I'll probably have more later lol
 
This is totally of topic but i just had to say this. There is a little lizard running down the gutter in the first picture
Yup, we have Brown Anoles all around our yard. There's teeny tiny little ones the size of my pinkie all over the place! They're so cute
