Ack! I need to click into that picture. These really do look like Welsh. (i was looking for the darker tips on the fuzz and the leg and bill color) I'm shocked that they were at Tractor Supply - but none the less they are a great find!
Can you see if you can save the picture the same way as the first one you posted? It kinda looks like you *might* have 2 girls and a boy- and that would be awesome!

I got two of my Welsh from Tractor Supply, I’ve heard others have found Cayugas at their local stores. It’s completely random luck on what’s available and if they even have any ducks in the first place.

FYI, at least with my local TSCs, they hold the ducklings in the back for a week before putting them out on the floor for sale. They do this to decrease the amount of dead birds that will be seen by customers. But that also means that with the Welshies they’re too old to accurately sex them by their beak color. If you purchase from TSC you should assume a straight run. I had a 50/50 boy/girl ratio with the ducks that I got from TSC.

I also had 50/50 with mine. Out of 6, 3 girls/3 boys. Unfortunately we lost one of the girls at 2.5 months old to an attack and we’re still trying to rehome at least 2 of the boys.

What kind of babes do I have here? These pics are a week old. They will be 4 weeks on Sunday. Yellow one has some white feathers coming in on wings and dark one has a rust brown color on wings and chest.
